A TOUCH AWAY
by Kim Louise

Genre: Contemporary Romance, Multicultural

RT Rating

English professor Grayson Gilmore is the toughest teacher at Barnett University. Having suffered a terrible loss seven years earlier, hes been living his life in a shell. That is, until the day a pair of eyes catch his attention in his classroom.

Sonji Stevens, after a two-year relationship, discovers her boyfriend is married. Needing a major life overhaul, Sonji enrolls in college. It doesnt take long for her to realize that Professor Gilmores class will be her hardest. Not just because she wants an excellent grade, but because he is doing things to her insides that she cant seem to control.

This sensual, smoothly paced romance more than kept my interest. Watching the characters deep desire to overcome painful pasts and make way for new love was heartening and touching. (Jul., 288 pp., $5.99)
