The hunt is on in the second installment of Dodd's eerie and exciting paranormal series, Darkness Chosen. Dodd adds more complications and compelling characters as she places her protagonists in true jeopardy. This hero and heroine are definitely not on the same page, and their maneuvering is exciting to watch. This is paranormal dynamite!

Former Air Force pilot turned archeologist Rurik Wilder knows he's close to finding the second missing piece of the ancient icon that can save his family from eternal damnation. Clues have led Rurik to a cave in the Orkney Islands; similar clues have also intrigued reporter Tasya Hunnicutt.

Tasya is out to avenge her family's deaths, and she's determined to hold
the evil Varinskis accountable. What Tasya doesn't realize is that, despite
the intense attraction between her and Rurik, he too is of Varinskish descent. Tasya doesn't believe the rumors
about the Varinskis' otherworldly
powers -- until she gets a firsthand demonstration. Can she place her
life and love in the hands of a man
with such a dangerous heritage?
