The charm of Martha’s Vineyard and a cast of eccentrics are nearly overshadowed by a geriatric sleuth. Riggs presents a touching tribute to the vivacity of the elderly as well as a well-plotted mystery with laugh-out-loud moments.
While her granddaughter Elizabeth’s mathematical knitters group works on their entry to a competition,a telephone stalker begins preying on its members and they turn to Victoria Trumbull for help. Both Victoria and Chief Casey O’Neil are attempting to track down the man the women suspect, but he’s nowhere to be found.
