TOUCHING DARKNESS
by Jaime Rush

The hazardous web surrounding the Offspring gets tighter in this third chapter. Shades of gray rule in Rush's dynamic series, since most of her characters are dangerous and capable of chilling acts. Rush ratchets up the fear factor as Offspring with frightening powers are pitted against each other. This one will take your breath away!

When Nicholas Braden was approached by Gerard Darkwell of
the CIA to use his unique ability to
find people, he thought he would be rescuing kidnapping victims. But now Nicholas fears that the Dark Matter project is more sinister than that.

Darkwell has branded other Offspring as rogues and terrorists, and Nicholas' first encounter with his fellow Offspring does not go well. Suspecting he's on the wrong side, Nicholas reaches out to the alleged rogues. Lucas, Eric, Petra, Zoe and the rest are suspicious, but willing to listen. Nicholas also
fears for the safety of a CIA operative named Olivia, who happens to be Darkwell's daughter. When Darkwell brings in murderous Offspring psychopath Sayre Andrus, the danger shoots off the charts. (AVON, May,
