TOUGH TO TAME (3) by Diana Palmer: Veterinarian Bentley Rydel has run off practically every tech who's ever worked for him. But Cappie Drake's made of sterner stuff. She sticks around long enough to discover that Bentley's really kindhearted -- and has good reason to distrust women. Unfortunately, that means when Cappie's abusive ex-boyfriend shows up, Bentley's willing to believe his lies about her, which place her in grave danger. But Cappie isn't quick to forgive Bentley, even though she loves him, and he's persuasive when he chooses to be. The plot is solid, there's some witty dialogue and great comic relief, but the characters are stereotypical, and the conflict's been overdone.

Have to agree with Catherine

Have to agree with Catherine on this one. I've been a Palmer fan for years, but now she tends to write the same story over and over again. Time to try a new theme.
