THE TOWER
by Jean Johnson

Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy, Paranormal Romance
Sensuality: HOT

RT Rating

Johnson creates a new spin-off series from her popular Sons of Destiny novels. This adventure-filled story features an atypical hero who, while magically powerful and brilliant, is no match weaponwise for the heroine. This excellently rendered quest brims with danger, featuring monsters, riddles and some sexually inspired solutions.

Kerric Vo Mos is a master mage and guardian of the tower that serves as an entertainment hub for wealthy mirror-scrying mages, who can view adventurers from around the world as they take on the Tower’s dangerous challenges for fame and fortune. On Kerric’s only day off in a year, an attack is launched against the Tower. To regain control of the Tower, Kerric will require a skilled partner, one who can wield a weapon, as well as passion. Myal the Mendhite is tall and strong, plus she is a capable adventurer, just what Kerric needs. (BERKLEY SENSATION, May, 384 pp., $15.00)
