Milan’s strength of writing draws the reader into her deeply emotional love stories, which are romantic yet brimming over with sexual tension and marvelous characters. Milan tackles relevant issues as a well as the rekindling of love in a spin-off from Proof of Seduction that is filled with enough wit and wisdom to make it a “keeper.”

Three years ago Ned Cathcart was too young and driven by personal demons to accept his marriage, so he left his new bride, Kate, for the Far East. Now, he’s back and determined to win Kate’s love. Since Ned walked away, Kate has built a life for herself that allows her the freedom to work for the rights of abused women. Though the sexual tension between them sizzles, Kate cannot allow Ned into her life for fear he will destroy her work. As their desire and trust grow Kate realizes Ned might be the champion she needs. But Ned will have to prove he is on her side when danger threatens Kate’s work and their love.
