All undercover agent Mark Kincaid wanted was to fix up his house and recover from a gunshot wound. Instead, hes knee deep in a case. To complicate matters, hes wildly attracted to his neighbor, accountant Cat Randolph, who from all indications is up to her pretty neck in the trouble hes investigating. Although the heros continual deceit is a bit disconcerting, Eve Gaddys TROUBLE IN TEXAS (3) features a plucky heroine, strong secondary characters and a fascinating intrigue.
