A follow-up to True Vision, True Colors is just as fast paced and gripping. The story is dark and twisted, and may test the endurance of some. However, the romance is sizzling and satisfying. It’s easy to empathize with the characters and the action makes this a perfect weekend read.

Photojournalist Alex Trudeau loves her life, her dogs and Det. John Logan. After Alex is shot protecting her sister, her empathic abilities multiply threefold and when she touches a person, she relives their worst memories. John thought he had left his past behind him until a killer hunts him down. When Alex is kidnapped, John realizes how important she is to him. Using her gift, Alex provides him with clues, but it may not be enough. They both have to dig deep to uncover the mystery and survive a killer’s plans. (BERKLEY SENSATION, Jan., 384 pp., $7.99)
