Time to celebrate -- Gibson is doing hockey again! Another of her signature fast-paced romances, this one has a delightful round of trophy wives, hunky jocks, fabulous shoes and pole dancers. Fans will be thrilled.

People scorn Faith, a centerfold who married a man 50 years her senior. But Virgil took care of Faith and earned her love. He cared for her even in death, leaving her lots of money -- and a hockey team. The captain, Ty Savage, is guilt-producingly hot, if a bit surly, and he's appalled that his team is being taken over by a model. But she's certainly worth looking at! They try to resist their attraction and keep their eyes on the puck, but the heat is starting to melt the ice. (AVON, Apr., 368 pp., $7.99)
