TRUSTING A STRANGER (4.5) by Kerry Connor: Her husband's murder has interior designer Karina Federov fleeing her home in Russia to her godfather's house in America. But even there she's not safe from the mob, which thinks she has their money. After her godfather is murdered, she has only family friend Luke Hubbard to turn to. The coldhearted corporate attorney agrees to marry Karina to keep her safe, even though he half believes she knows where her late husband stashed the money. But the couple is soon on the run and wondering how the thugs are finding them as they flee. Red herrings, mob bosses and bullets fly in this entertaining and terribly well-written book.
