Book Review

by Mona Hodgson

Genre: Inspirational, Historical Romance

RT Rating

This sweet romance has characters who are charming, witty and wear their emotions on their sleeves. Readers will be reunited with the Sinclair sisters and meet some new characters. This is a stand-alone novel with some references to the wonderful Sinclair Sisters series. Hodgson weaves a believable love story through the mountains of 1800s Colorado.

Willow Peterson needs a fresh start; her father is dead and buried, and she is wondering if his death will push her back over the edge, just like the death of her husband did a few years ago. She starts working as a portrait artist for Tom Van Der Veer, the local photographer, when deep-buried feelings come to the surface. She gets some special help from the Sinclair sisters to find a second chance at love and happiness. (WATERBROOK, Oct., 320 pp., $13.99)
