AS TWILIGHT FALLS
by Amanda Ashley

RT Rating

Ashley is one of those authors you can count on for a first-class untamed romance. As Twilight Falls is an easygoing read that still manages to be gripping. The characters develop in such a way that you are quickly invested in them and want to find out what’s next, and more often than not, it’s something you didn’t anticipate.

Taking a wrong turn and ending up in a strange town results in serious consequences for Kadie Andrews. Morgan Creek is essentially a ghost town and when twilight falls, it becomes something else entirely. Physically unable to leave town, Kadie soon meets the founder of Morgan Creek. Rylan Saintcrow is the master vampire and he has some specific plans for Kadie. His passion for her is overwhelming and one that she simply doesn’t reciprocate. But Rylan has no qualms about keeping her his prisoner until she feels that same burning desire. (ZEBRA, May, 336 pp., $7.99)
