The summary for this third book in Leigh’s popular Wizard Twins series is a wild guess, because the convoluted plot cannot be completely understood in this far-too-short,186-page attempt at a blend of high fantasy and erotica. The presence of not one but two prologues — though one is not labeled as such — should be enough to warn readers that the worldbuilding tries to dominate. But there’s simply not enough length to cover the entire world Leigh is trying to explain, let alone have a love story develop. The magical sex scenes seem shoehorned in as well.

Astra is heir to the Keeper of the Power of the Mystic Forests. Yet, to fully come into her powers, she has to trust the twins she’s magically bound to, even though they are believed to be working against the kingdom she’s sworn to protect. Once she joins with her wizard twins Torran and Rhydan, however, she has to confront her own mother’s betrayal and dig deeper into a conspiracy. (ELLORASCAVE.COM, dl $9.99)
