Financier widower Troy Cramer returns to his hometown, hoping to find safety and security as well as a more normal life for his twin daughters. When he sees policewoman Sadie Evans, the girl everyone loved in high school, handling a juvenile delinquent, he hires her to help his daughters become "ladies." Surprised to see that the geek from high school has turned into such a handsome man, Sadie finds herself falling for him. Will Troy learn to loosen his grip on everyone's life and let nature take its course? Susan Meier's THE TYCOON'S DOUBLE TROUBLE (2) has some problems. Troy is entirely too overbearing and overprotective. The premise is good and has potential, but two bratty children and their overbearing father make this a tough read.
