A crisis in her pregnancy forces single mom-to-be Nikki Day to turn to her ex-boss, sports clinic owner Alex Reid, for help. Having Alex nurse her is awkward, and the situation's aggravated by Nikki's refusal to discuss her baby's paternity. The sizzling attraction that neither wants to acknowledge and the interfering of her family soon have Alex proposing. But will Alex still want to marry Nikki when she names the baby's father? The initial situation in Allison Leigh's The Tycoon's Marriage Bed (3) is perhaps a little contrived, but Nikki and Alex are well written, and there's a real spark between them.
