A chance encounter with wealthy businessman Kurt Callahan, the man who once broke her heart, is only the start of Lissa Morgan's problems. A struggling student, Lissa's barely making ends meet. So when she's robbed, she's not sure how she'll pay the rent. The temporary job Kurt's grandmother impulsively offers is a godsend, though it results in her receiving The Tycoon's Proposal (3) -- and having to work through her feelings about his youthful cruelty to her. Leigh Michaels' latest is occasionally humorous, and Lissa possesses many admirable traits. But these assets are offset by Kurt's arrogance and somewhat suspect explanation of his past behavior.
