Emotionally scarred law student Carly Tate is shy and does everything to deflect attention, including dressing in the frumpiest of fashions. Then Lorenzo Domenico comes to teach and is selected as her tutor. He's immediately attracted and sees beyond the outer surface. Despite her attraction, Carly is certain he'd never be interested in someone like her. But Lorenzo is determined to discover the Carly he knows can emerge, and she's just as surprised to get
to know a whole new part of herself. Susan Stephens' Under the Italian's Command (4) is a lovely story about someone emerging from her shell. Of course it doesn't hurt that the person helping her is a hunk! But most importantly, he has a kind heart, knows how to show love.
