Delivering a box of pottery for a patient has unexpected consequences for midwife Julianne Martin. She's arrested by special investigator Tony Aquilon and accused of stealing precious Native American artifacts. But the tribal elders vouch for Julianne, and soon even Tony has trouble believing she's guilty, as Julianne's presence and insistence
on proving her innocence get to him. Love blooms Under the Western Sky (3) despite Tony's well-documented
history of wanderlust. Laurie Paige continues Canyon Country with this
initially intriguing but slightly disjointed story. Tony and Julianne are likable as well, but their relationship somehow fails to engage the reader.
