UNDERCOVER SOLDIER (3) by Linda O. Johnston: Information technologist Sherra Andrews had been told that her former college sweetheart, soldier Brody McAndrews, was killed in action in Afghanistan. But when Sherra hacks into his records to learn the details, she discovers some anomalies. When Brody sneaks into her house, her suspicion of a faked death is confirmed. Unfortunately, Sherra’s hacking threatens to blow Brody’s cover and put them both in grave danger. Despite his annoyance at Sherra’s interference, Brody is determined to keep her safe. This story is fast paced and suspenseful. However, the characters aren’t developed sufficiently at the start of the story, and their romance is rekindled too quickly.
