Book Review

UNSPOKEN
by Dee Henderson

Genre: Inspirational, Romantic Suspense

RT Rating

Henderson’s latest is full of secrets, intrigue and a beautiful romance. The tale gets a bit bogged down in the places where Charlotte is reluctant to open up and in the plot points involving money and collectible coins. Yet overall, the intricacy of the mystery outweighs the shortcomings to provide a gripping and tender story.

Charlotte Graham was kidnapped and held for years before she was rescued. She changed her name and created an entirely new identity to protect her privacy and the dark secrets she holds close. She contacts Bryce Bishop when she inherits a number of collectible coins from her grandfather that Bryce agrees to purchase and sell in his store. He is smitten with Charlotte, who proves to be an enigma he would like to get to know better. Will her past prevent her from exploring a future with him? (BETHANY HOUSE, Oct., 448 pp., $22.99)
