Karina Sutter's very prosperous candy store sells treats made from her secret family recipe—chocolate with amorous side effects. For the first time, she is tempted to use the chocolates' powers for her own interests. The mysterious man who lives across the street has attracted her interest, but she thinks he hasn't noticed her. Living in danger under an assumed name, Alex Anderson feels he can't get involved with anyone. But when Karina arrives at his apartment with a bag of truffles, he can't resist her—even if he is allergic to chocolate. Unwrapped (3) by Carrie Alexander is a warm story of passion and adventure. There is almost too much plot, but with appealing secondary characters, two mysteries and steamy scenes, it is an enjoyable tale of hope and trust.
