Cocktail waitress turned psychologist Chrissy McMullen thought she
had it made. Then one of her most well-known patients, football player Andrew Bomstad, dies in her office from a heart attack brought on by too much Viagra.

Since "The Bomber" supposedly
was seeing Chrissy because of impotence, she's shocked when he tries
to rape her and then falls over dead. Making matters worse, Lt. Jack Rivera
believes that Chrissy was having an
affair with Bomstad and purposely
gave him the Viagra. So Chrissy must find the culprit and clear her name before it ruins her practice, but the
culprit will do anything to make sure that doesn't happen.

This is an amazingly good book
with tons of twists and turns—and
it's funny. Chrissy's internal thoughts are hilarious, as are the situations she gets herself into. Plus, the sexual tension between Chrissy and Rivera spices things up but never detracts from the pacing. Greiman has put out a winner that will hopefully become a series. (May, 368 pp., $6.99)
