VALENTINO'S LOVE-CHILD (4) by Lucy Monroe: Italian vintner Tino Grisafi, a widower with a son, and American artist Faith Williams, a widow herself, have been lovers for almost a year. As their anniversary approaches, Faith wants to deepen their connection beyond its present circumstances, but Tino is determined to maintain the status quo. He has no desire to marry again and if he did, it would be to a traditional Sicilian woman. Even though she's in love with Tino, Faith ends the relationship, then finds out she's pregnant. In this heartfelt story about moving on in the aftermath of tragedy, the hero can be downright mean to the heroine, but she's a strong woman and fights for the love she knows she can have if the hero can open his heart once more.
