RT Rating

THE VAMPIRE HUNTER (4.5) by Michele Hauf: After fighting off a group of vampires, Kaz Rothstein learns that the human he was trying to protect is actually a witch. Zoe Guillbeaux already knows that vampires exist and is making a cure (or so she thinks) for a vamp friend who is addicted to faery ichor. Kaz is immediately attracted to Zoe, and so he is devastated when he learns that she is creating the new vampire drug on the street. Soon the two are working together to stop the vampire responsible for selling the drug. Hauf’s signature flair for dialogue and description make the novel hard to put down. The scenes between Kaz and Zoe sparkle with sexual tension.
