Book Review

VAMPIRE, INTERRUPTED
by Lynsay Sands

Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy
Sensuality: HOT

RT Rating

Sands' story, which brings romance and a life mate to Marguerite, is fantastic and fast moving. The secrets revealed and the discoveries made make it one of the best books in the Argeneau series, in part thanks to Sands' lovely humor. Not only do we reconnect with many familiar faces, we're introduced to other characters that will hopefully have stories of their own.

Marguerite Argeneau has decided it's time she had a career, and she chooses that of P.I. Her first case is to help immortal Christian Notte discover who his mother is, because his father, Julius, refuses to tell him. When it appears that someone is out to kill Marguerite, Julius steps in to protect her, and Marguerite is not all that pleased to discover he's her life mate. As she continues to search for Christian's mother, many secrets are revealed, and it looks like there are surprising discoveries in store for all. (Avon, Mar., 384 pp., $6.99)
