VAMPIRES DEAD AHEAD
by Cheyenne McCray

Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy, Urban Fantasy

RT Rating

Throughout her Night Tracker series, bestseller McCray has placed her feisty heroine through both an emotional and physical wringer, but that is just a warm-up for what‘s next. This novel starts off fast with ominous new developments and never looks back. Gritty action and heart-rending drama make for an excellent addition to the series.

After stopping the zombie hordes, Nyx and her fellow trackers have been hoping for some down time — fat chance, as master vampire Volod is back and ready to rumble. Volod’s got the list of paranorm’s weaknesses, and is now focused on building a vampire army. Most worrying for Nyx is the disappearance of her former lover and proctor Rodan. The one good thing in her life is her developing relationship with dragon paranorm Colin. Unfortunately Volod has a major bone to pick with Nyx! (ST. MARTIN’S, Dec., 340 pp., $7.99)
