VEILED INTENTIONS
by Delores Fossen

Genre: Series

RT Rating

Decked out in blond wig and killer stilettos, San Antonio detective Katelyn O'Malley is on the trail of a killer. Homicide sergeant Joe Rico, her new boss, suspects the victim may have met the killer through the Perfect Match agency, so they go undercover as a couple to find out who's behind what could be a string of murders. The faux romance evolves into a wedding sting, but soon real feelings develop. Delores Fossen delivers
a sharp-witted narrative and kick-ass main characters, which give Veiled Intentions (4) its oomph, despite the premise seeming slightly more contrived than justified.
