Spellbinding! The second book in the Tales of Goldstone Wood series reads like a modern-day movie, full of fantasy and danger. You will want to be put on the waiting list for book three.

Lionheart and Rose Red become friends, both spellbound by the mysteries of the mountain. Dragon King has a deep hold on Rose Red and wishes to devour all who interfere with his hold upon her. Lionheart’s family becomes imprisoned and Lionheart is exiled, and must find the way to slay the evil among them. The path he is on gives him passage to other worlds and lands. Rose Red wishes only to be of service to her kind friend and to be protected by the great mystery that surrounds her and protects her from destruction. (BETHANY HOUSE, Jul., 384 pp., $14.99)
