The Annwyn Chronicles begin with this fascinating fantasy tale of good ver- sus evil, which combines elements of Celtic mythology and religion with shapeshifters in the contemporary setting of a goth nightclub. This book scores a trifecta as fantasy, romance and erotica. Readers will anticipate the continuation of the battle to save the two worlds in future volumes of the chronicles.

Mystical creatures mingle with mortals at Velvet Haven, the nightclub that also serves as a portal between the mortal world and the otherworld. Both worlds have experienced ritual killings and are under attack from dark magic forces. Bran, the Raven, king of the Sidhe, goes to Velvet Haven searching for answers and to replenish his energy through sex with a mortal. There he meets Mairi and her friend Rowan -- mortals with powers. Mairi and Bran have been sharing erotic, but troubling, dreams that foretell their passionate relationship. They form an alliance with others -- both mortal and supernatural -- to stop the evil. Yum, 6 foot 5 inches of muscled, dark, longhaired Sidhe with pewter and gold sigils and matching eyes – what women could resist. One, for a little while anyway. Velvet Haven is smooth, chocolaty, silky and sexy. Entertaining erotic mystery, I’m looking forward to Mists of Velvet about the Haven’s half-breed owner.
