A VERY PRIVATE GRAVE

The church history is interesting while being informative and the characters are easy to get to know. Felicity and Father Antony are a fantastic duo as they weave their way through far-off places looking for clues. The romantic settings of England and Scotland are vivid, taking the reader to another place and time in this well-paced mystery. A very promising start to a new series!

An American student studying in Yorkshire is devastated by the murder of her mentor, Father Dominic. Felicity and church lecturer Father Antony are out to solve the mystery and escape a killer. Their quest takes them across northern England and southern Scotland, through the past and back to today, combining romance, mysteries and spirituality. (KREGEL, Aug., 384 pp., $14.99)
