This tale of a Danish vixen and
a Viking warrior is full of action, heightened sexual tension and
enough twists to keep readers glued
to their chair. The only jarring note
is the modern dialogue sprinkled throughout.
Reyna is stolen from her home, locked in a harem and then given to Wulfric the Ruthless. Wulf hates the Danes for the murder of his wife and unborn child and isn't happy
to be given such a willful, belligerent and stunning beauty. But the boundaries between right and wrong blur
in the heat of passion.
They try to deny their attraction,
but fate turns the tables and makes
her the mistress and him the slave. Now a Viking must learn to forgive and forget, and a Dane must learn
to follow her heart. (Leisure, Nov., 384
