For an article on online romance, magazine columnist Raine Covington visits a virtual chat world. She poses as "Nilla" and meets "Rider," a man who knows how to stoke her sexual fires. Soon she feels closer to him than she has to any man in the real world. Little does she know that Rider is Jackson Harris, the computer security guru for her company. When she finds out, Raine feels duped and wants nothing to do with Jack. Then a stalker comes into her life, and she finds she both needs and wants him. Virtually Perfect (3) by Samantha Hunter is filled with computer-savvy details and sensuality. But the relationship feels artificial, and it's hard to understand why Raine feels so betrayed when she finds out who Rider really is.
