A VISION OF MURDER
by Victoria Laurie

Genre: Mystery/Suspense/Thriller, Mystery, Amateur Sleuth

RT Rating

Psychic Abigail Cooper has taken January off to decorate her new house and enjoy a well-deserved break from work. Unfortunately, Abby ends up taking care of her injured boyfriend and dealing with a poltergeist. Turns out that an angry ghost lives in her fixer-upper and, unless Abby can figure out what's making this ghost so angry, she just might lose her money -- and her life.

Abby is a delight to spend 300 pages with and she's laugh-out-loud funny as well. Her dialogue and inner thoughts flow naturally, and the situations she finds herself in are always exciting and never predictable.

Abby's sister, Cat, is a wonderful character who jumps off the page, even though she's not in this book as much as she was in previous ones. This is a great book to curl up with and just enjoy. (Dec., 304 pp., $6.99)
