Thibodeaux’s characters are absolutely, wholeheartedly real. They go through some fairly hideous real-life darkness, while also continuously finding their courage and true faith in God. Readers will be offered inspiration, science fiction, supernatural events, drama and ultimately, redemption. No stone is left unturned in this extremely entertaining novel.
Taylor Forrestier and her brother Trevor are both blessed and cursed with visionary gifts. But with the good comes the bad. And with a background of abuse and harm, Trevor and Taylor are also wrought with memories of pain, deceit, anger and lies. But God can help the siblings and show them how to live their lives happily, and how to find the forgiveness they need in order to move on. (FIVE STAR, Dec., 276 pp., $25.95)
