New York homicide lieutenant Eve Dallas and new partner Delia Peabody are on the case when a woman's body is discovered in Central Park.

Not only was this latest victim raped and murdered, her eyes were taken as trophies. While Eve and Delia suspect that this killer is not finished, they are surprised when a local psychic claims
to have information. According to Celina Sanchez, who has already had the horrific experience of seeing the murder through the killer's eyes, this is only the beginning. A dark and tormented soul, the killer is also prolific. And unless Eve can come up with something concrete, more women will end up his victims.

The danger gets way too close to home in this newest chapter in the gripping In Death series. Without a doubt, this is one of the most consistently excellent, thrilling and emotionally gripping series ever published. (Aug., 352 pp., $21.95)
