Book Review

A VOW FOR ALWAYS
by Wanda E. Brunstetter

Genre: Inspirational, Mainstream

RT Rating

Brunstetter’s sixth in The Discovery series is a satisfying, yet somewhat predictable, finale. The storyline seems a bit rushed at times, but the reader is able to visualize the circle of life and how God’s hand connects all events in our lives.

Eddie’s memories return and he realizes that he is Luke Stoltzfus. Susan keeps a friendly distance as he recalls his life — and his wife. Luke wants to go home, and Susan offers to help. Despite a few nagging doubts, Meredith is planning to marry Jonah. She knows Luke will always hold a place in her heart, but she believes she and her son can be happy with Jonah. Luke arrives in town and learns about the wedding. Will he be too late? (BARBOUR, Jul., 128 pp., $4.97)
