A WALK DOWN THE AISLE (4) by Holly Jacobs: When 14-year-old Tori Allen shows up in Valley Ridge, N.Y., looking for her birth mother, she brings a halt to Sophie Johnston and Colton McCray’s wedding. Shocked that the daughter she gave up for adoption has come to find her, Sophie is even further distressed when Colton calls off their wedding, angered by the past she never shared with him. But when Sophie finds herself pregnant with Colton’s child — and Tori’s adoptive parents allow her to get to know Sophie — life becomes much more complicated. Jacobs weaves an interesting tale of forgiveness, boosted by well-written dialogue and a fun, lively character in Sophie’s daughter, Tori.
