Maggie Randolph is left reeling after her adoptive father and his lawyer are murdered—and she's the main suspect. Then she discovers her adoption was just a cover-up and she was really kidnapped. Maggie goes on the run, desperate to find proof that the crimes are linked to one man, the cop who investigated both the kidnapping and the murder. Deputy sheriff Jesse Tanner is on the case too, and dangers await them both. B.J. Daniels' Wanted Woman (4) is action-packed,with an admirable plot that avoids too many clichés. Some may find their interest straying as her otherwise enjoyable leads are kept apart for a good chunk of the book.
