Lyons' medical students have almost
as many mysteries to solve at Angels
of Mercy Hospital as the city's cops. Sometimes the medical jargon is
difficult, and though the book stands alone, it's clearly part of a series. Overall, this page-turning medical
mystery will keep readers captivated.
Pittsburgh is an alien world to Amanda Mason. It's very different from her South Carolina hometown, but new friends and a busy schedule as a fourth-year medical student have helped her acclimate. But she's keeping secrets from those friends and, now that patients are dying from mysterious symptoms, she could easily become the next victim if she doesn't tell someone about her secret illness.
