Book Review

by Michelle Willingham

Genre: Historical Romance
Sensuality: HOT
Setting: 1175 Ireland

RT Rating

Willingham employs entertaining plot twists to move her hero and heroine into position for this thought-provoking tale of love in the second installment of the MacEgan Brothers.

Aileen is astonished to find the love of her youth, Connor, beaten, stabbed and left for dead near her hut. Although commanded never to use her healing skills again, she hides the Irish warrior and works to save his life.

Connor awakens to the ministrations of a sharp-tongued Aileen, whom he remembers from years before. Being
in close quarters with the healer does nothing to soothe his lust once he is well. A fight to avenge his honor, a daughter he never knew he had and the fear of pox prevent him from acknowledging his love for Aileen,
who would give him up rather than see him dead. (Harlequin, Sep., 304 pp., $5.99)
