A great mystery that will keep you interested until the end. The characters are well thought out and the storyline believable. Fans who enjoyed Whitlow’s other works will also like this one.

Tom Crane is an up-and-coming attorney who has just lost his job, his girlfriend and even his cat. Now he must head back to Bethel to tie up his deceased father’s estate. Yet something does not seem right with the way his father died and as Tom digs deeper into his father’s finances, he finds evidence of fraud. Tom knows his father would never do anything illegal and it is up to him to prove it. He is not sure who to trust and he must rely on God to see him through. Will Tom find the culprit in time or will he lose his life, just like his father? (THOMAS NELSON, Aug., 400 pp., $15.99)
