THE WEDDING JOURNEY
by Carla Kelly

Genre: Regency Period, England

RT Rating

Captain Jesse Randall loves the lovely Nell Mason, but an Army field hospital
in the middle of enemy territory is no place for romance. Just as the Army is
ordered to retreat, Nell is propositioned by a bullying lout who threatens to
harm her father. Jesse weds Nell to keep her safe, and so begins THE WEDDING JOURNEY (4.5), one that leads Nell, Jesse and the other surgeons into hell and
back before the young couple is free to celebrate their growing love in peace.
This story radiates a deep conviction in the ultimate victory of good and evil
while reminding us that it is not always in our power to choose how we must
fight. Carla Kelly has given her fans another book to treasure in this meticulously
researched tale, which shows the terrors and triumphs of war; where courage,
humor and honor collide with the brutal realities of man's worst inclinations.
