This Cinderella romance is a charming confection perfect for a summer afternoon. Very readable, with no dark violent secrets, this one cries out for a porch swing and some lemonade.
Sophie runs a wedding business with her two stepsisters and is proud of her ability to give brides their perfect day. So when she meets Shelby, a lovely girl who wants her wedding at the Princess House, Sophie is determined to get it for her. The house is currently owned by a reclusive and grouchy writer named Owen Winters, whose first response is no, until he realizes that Sophie is the only other person who can see the ghost haunting the house — a ghost whose own wedding was supposed to happen there. Sophie is sympathetic to the ghost’s pain, and Owen insists that she move in and deal with the ghost herself. Once she does, however, the sparks of romance are not limited to the wedding couple.
