Private Investigator Allie St. James is hired by a pint-sized client who is certain someone wants to kill his father. She doesn't realize that this case could change her life, when she meets Jake Larson and the two are thrust together in a case that has them posing as newlyweds. The combination of Jake with his serious temperament and pack of secrets and Allie with her impulsive outrageousness and hidden agenda leads to some entertaining head-butting in this enjoyable romp. Catherine Mann delivers sheer pleasure in WEDDING AT WHITE SANDS (4), a truly fun read. (#1158)
