WEREWOLF IN ALASKA
by Vicki Lewis Thompson

Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy, Paranormal Romance
Sensuality: HOT

RT Rating

The latest in the Wild About You series takes readers to the wilderness of Alaska. Thompson gives Alaska its due and brings realism and romance to the setting, the perfect place for werewolves to roam. This easygoing read offers a fun take on the familiar theme of forbidden werewolf/human love. While this entry is a stand-alone, regular readers of the series will appreciate allusions to previous characters.

The irresistible passion Jake and Rachel share has been percolating for years — Jake’s habit of skinny-dipping in the evenings caught Rachel’s attention from across the lake, while the reclusive artist who carved an amazing likeness of a wolf haunts Jake. But Jake is a werewolf, and founder of the group WARM (Werewolves Against Random Mating), which means the attraction he feels for human Rachel is pointless. When she is suddenly attacked by a bear, all bets are off as Jake shifts to protect her. Their long-simmering attraction ignites as their lives suddenly come together in a way neither expected, and they quickly learn love may just be worth the risk.
