Creative and funny, Thompson’s light read is lovely escapism. If you’re a fan of the furry, this is a series that you will definitely enjoy. Not only are the characters well thought out and easy to love, the setting is so well written, it’s like taking a vacation. Fourth in the Wild About You series, this is another pleasing adventure with a charming couple fighting adversity to find their way to love.

Kate Stillman is all about honoring her werewolf heritage. She started a group about it, blogs about it and has now agreed to a public debate. Taking on Duncan MacDowell on the subject of werewolf segregation should be easy, right? But the sexy werewolf founder of an opposing organization is not the pushover she was hoping for. Kate has met her match, and now she is even more determined to convince him his view on interspecies mating is wrong. She’s wildly attracted to Duncan. Too bad he reportedly prefers human women. Will they realize that love is more important than who is right? (SIGNET ECLIPSE, Oct., 336 pp., $7.99)
