You’d think that a romantic story about a werewolf and a human hunting the elusive Sasquatch would be over-the-top ridiculous. Yet Thompson manages to create a fun love story that is scorching hot. Steamy sex scenes coupled with a fun, and occasionally dangerous, adventure to protect identities and prove an old man’s theory correct make for a delightful read.

Abby Winchell has traveled from her hometown to visit her grandfather and convince him once and for all to sell his home and move closer to her. The only way to do so is to stop the man who is making her grandpa Earl look like a fool. See, her grandfather not only believes Bigfoot exists, he says he has seen him with his own eyes! Roark Wallace knows the truth about what’s up in the woods. When a beautiful woman approaches him to prove her grandfather is correct, he cannot resist. Literally, she blackmails him with photos. But this blackmailer has only good intentions. Their hunt for the Sasquatch pair soon turns into a heated romance, one neither one of them can resist. (SIGNET ECLIPSE, Sep., 336 pp., $7.99)
