Lord Daniel York is fairly certain that investing in a theater production will save his family fortune. The show's producer, his childhood friend Terence Shy, helps Daniel in return— by playing matchmaker for him and his sister, Josephine. Daniel is enchanted by Jo, and Terence is happy to distract his friend from the rapidly dwindling finances. The play is struggling to make it till opening night, and it's further endangered by a spy in their midst. Lisa Noeli's What He Doesn't Know (3) is humorous, and the love that blooms between Daniel and Jo makes this Regency a warm and endearing read. (Jun., 224 pp., $4.99)
