Book Review

WHAT SHE NEEDS
by Lacey Alexander

Genre: Erotic Romance

RT Rating

Each sex scene is more varied -- and hotter -- than the last in this delightful read, in which bondage, pirates, M/M and F/F feature prominently. Fans of heroes with tragic pasts will swoon over Brent, while the heroine reminds us that sexual contact too early can leave scars. It takes a little work to suspend disbelief and accept the story's premise, but it's well worth the effort.

Hotel Erotique is, literally, a small fantasy island off the Florida coast where guests learn how to have better, more satisfying sex. Jenna inadvertently wins a two-week trip there, even though she doesn't think she has any sexual issues. Her guide and mentor, Brent,
disagrees and invents a series of well-crafted fantasies to help her become
the sexual goddess he knows she can be. But when things turn serious between them, she discovers that the love of her life needs some healing too. (HEAT, Nov., 304 pp., $14.00)
